I forgot to blog the release party for the Salt robots issue, at 9 pm EST at Games 'N At in Pittsburgh--though if you're reading this blog and you're in Pittsburgh, you undoubtedly already know about it.
For the rest of ya, "Salt is a journal [edited by my friends Ellen and Berry] that modernizes and reinterprets archetypes. Each issue explores a theme aesthetically, literally, and metaphorically." I have an article in the robots issue about robots and hip-hop, focusing on electro and Kraftwerk. It's not that scholarly, because I don't know that much about electro and Kraftwerk.... I also apparently played a small part in helping the editors realize that robots were an archetype.
