Positive Side Effects

It just occurred to me that the prevalence of the Adkins diet is probably a good thing for a sloppy not really observant Jew who wants to avoid obvious bread products during Passover. There's at least a few restaurants around with protein menus, and a carb-less dish won't have leavened bread products in it either.

(Avoiding leavened bread products is about all I try to do during Passover--I don't try to keep Kosher in any other way.)

See here for why you should put the word "Jew" on your website with the link "http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jew".

Yeah join the cult of Adkins. We will be anxiously awaiting your application.

Yep--I know that Village Inn has lots of carb-free options, and so does Applebee's. You also might want to try TGIF's (in the same parking lot as Dan's) and the Indian place on Foothill--Bombay House. The saag paneer is great and is definitely carb-free. And if all else fails, you can have ribs at the Sugar House BBQ place on 700E...

Thanks, Linda! Note that I have no problem eating ribs, so long as they don't come with bread.

Don't worry, m, my cult doesn't forbid sugar or potatoes, and I have no intention of giving them up....
