An Assertion that Is Probably False, But Is Much Cooler than Mundane Reality So I Don't Care

Regina Spektor's "Fidelity" video was obviously inspired by Jackson's Knowledge Argument.

Speaking of such type assertions, Paul Reubens' "Pee-Wee's Big Adventure" was obviously inspired by the silent short screened in the middle of Agnès Varda's "Cléo de 5 à 7".

Or do I mean, "Tim Burton's 'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure'"?

It could be convergent evolution. Or more likely, Spektor and Jackson were both inspired by the Wizard of Oz (the movie).

I'm not that into the song, but it's definitely better than I would have expected from Arlen Spektor's kid.

Actually, I remember reading an interview in which Spektor claimed that she got pretty interested in analytic philosophy in college.

This, though, is a better video and song, though rather overwrought.

I like "Fidelity" better, the song at least.
