I Still Think of You, Jim Henson (redux)

A couple of years ago I linked to Chris Aubry's "I Still Think of You, Jim Henson." The link is now broken, but I found this link, with a biographical update from Mr. Aubry in the comments. (And another link, which I posted in an update to my old post.)

I was thinking about it because of this (via Larry Cebula), which might be the second saddest comic ever. Calvin is no longer a friend of Narnia. (C.S. Lewis is still a creep, though.)

Sigh.

Christ, both of those are frigging depressing. The Calvin one reminds me of an Onion article: "Ritalin Cures Next Picasso."
They just put a statute up of Jim Henson at my alma mater's campus; he's an alumnus. The statue is a stone bench with a life-sized bronze Henson with his arm over the shoulder of a bronze Kermit. I haven't yet seen it in real life. It was on the cover of an alumni association "give us money" magazine.

Weiner, call more people out at LGM; it drove my traffic here.

But does it make me any money? No, seriously, thanks for stopping by. And visit my other blog too! It's slightly more active.

I guess I should start putting that URL into my comments.
