For the Folks Up North

The weather thingy on my computer is broken again. It says the high for today is 78 and the current temperature is 80.

cold builds moral fibre.

of course, moral fibre ranks somewhere b/w the doors and karl rove on the great scale of overrated.

Moral fibre adds bulk to your character.

But the latest study shows that it doesn't prevent cancer.

Doesn't moral fibre make you morally regular?

Posted by: Matt Weiner at March 2, 2006 03:42 PM

Yes. It promotes full disclosure, to boot.

it also gets soggy in milk, and is only palatable when liberally coated w/ tasty sin.

I like it with reasons.

My gosh, my dashboard thingy says it's 19 in Philadelphia! At 5:13. I'm glad I'm not there!

Posted by: Matt's mom at March 3, 2006 03:16 PM

My dashboard thingy now says thunderstorms tomorrow (as usual). That would mean I stay inside, I guess, as there's no actual drainage here -- you just get foot-deep rivers in the streets until it eventually evaporates.

I was going to make this a front-page post, just to have a new one, but then I said to myself "You are not putting up two posts in a row about the weather."

i'm a contrarian w/r/t the disdain expressed toward talking about weather. i can't speak for everyone, but it has a huge effect on my daily life and mood. plus, its interesting. we can't predict it, don't really understand it, and its a constant reminder of the struggle of living on a rock hurtling through space. i guess some people talk about jeebus for similar reasons. me, i'm hoping apollo gets his act together soon. i'm cold.
